I like historical weapons a lot, and while the m14 was my first choice, I would not be able to settle for the fake wood stock, so maybe Ill buy the real one down the line... so for now... mp44? Anyone got any gripes, thoughts, concerns, with this checkout?

I would say just make sure you start looking for another mag now just because they are unique and the fact with the RoF of that gun 300 rounds isn't forever.
And just something to keep in mind, the mags may not fit into most pouches if you go buy a vest/molle setup. Find a sling that fits too, it seems heavy.
With that being said, it seems like it performs awesome. Good luck waiting for it to arrive, I was checking tracking everyday on my first order.

as long as its the right brand you shouldnt have a problem. most of the airsoft guns on ebay tend to be cheap springers or plastic geared aegs. there are a few good ebay airsoft stores but not many. but this one looks to be fine.
only gripe i have with it is that its gonna hurt like a bitch. that thing is strong ;D

Matt, if that Ebay account works, that seems like a steal. The picture shows the box has battery and everything in it! and he says it was chrono'd at 400 with .25s? wowwie wowwie. That seems incredibly good to be true. Go for it. Also as far as chargers go, there's a real nice Purple one that most of us use that's decently priced. www.airsoftpost.com/universal-smart-charger-900mah3600mah-batteries-p-24661.htmlG&G bbs aare good, but best price I've seen is the Bioval's at Shorty's since there's no shipping involved. Bag of 4000 .25's for 23$

If that STG 44 is actually new it would be a steal for 150$. The mags will be expensive though, so I would try to track down some now. www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=31085get two or three of them and you'd be gtg. evike is having a 20% off sale on wednesday and thursday I believe.

Matt,
This MP44 looks really awesome. Impressive fps! I think you may have found your weapon. Of course, you realize that you will have to eventually purchase a GBB Luger pistol to complete your loadout. It's the law!
Let me know if you are getting anything from evike.com. We can consolidate our order and save more with the discount/shipping.

I'm going to hold out and see if I win this MP44 on ebay. If so Ill order the rest of it... including 2 more hi-cap mags from the www.screamingeagleairsoft.com/, a battery charger, 9.6v battery, and some bbs so that my shipping will be free... if anyone wants to combine off that they are welcome, the site isn't the easiest to navigate but they provide some good videos. I might ask someone to pick me up some .25 bio bbs at Shortys if they head down then.

So i think Ill have to go that route and find an appropriate holster as well... It wasn't really a funny story, huh.
