So I just ordered 8 refurbed/broken thompsons (m1a1 and 1928) should be here in a couple days. the package is 55lbs according to ups. well see how this goes. i may need to order some parts but im hoping that theyre mostly complete. im gonna have the best wedding ever

It's going to be awesome. I have no idea how you talked Rachel into letting you get a bunch of airsoft guns for your wedding but it's the coolest thing I've ever heard of. She's going to kill me for getting you into airsoft.

and i also noticed that they had a 3 pack of mp40s that was sold out. if they ever get it back we need to buy it and have ww2 games

So they came yesterday. and i must admit i am very impressed with both the guns and with kapowwe. I ordered 8 thompsons: one refurbed m1a1, one boneyard 1928, and 6 boneyard m1a1. of the 8 i have 4 working perfectly with 1 or 2 minor cosmetic defects (missing knob on charging handle etc). 2 that shot fine once then seemed to get an electrical problem (but not a blown fuse), one with a low mounted motor that is not making contact with the gears, and one that shoots but the upper receiver cracked off of the lower (some epoxy/super super glue should do the trick).
The guns themselves are great. full metal with amazing looking fake wood. if you didnt know it was abs you would be easily fooled. they weigh about 7-8lbs. 9-10 with a mag. probably 10-11 with the drum mag.
which is where kapowwe really shined. if youve looked at kapowwe before youll notice that with their mystery boxes and other items they encourage you to make a suggestion of what to give you. i ordered no mystery box, but i was spending about $500 so i asked if they could throw in a drum mag or two. they only had one broken drum mag on their site and i noticed a few days after my order that it was no longer there. sure enough it was in my box. it doesnt feed right but it is still all metal and normally sells for $45 new. so for free it was awesome.
